Flower Sketch

Creating experience:
while I was creating this project, I thought hard about how I really like to draw flowers. I used to draw flowers with my grandma all the time when I was little, which is why I know how to draw them. Drawing flowers brings back good family memories, which is why I chose to draw the flower.

Recreating experience:
It took me a few times to be happy with what I was drawing. I had to redo the flower multiple times. I used a light purple to go with my light yellow middle. I thought that these colors really went together and made the flower look simple but good. I enjoy using illustrator, and I enjoyed making this flower.

My opinion: 
I really like my simple flower. I feel that I used the right colors, and made the flower look natural and clean. If I had to change something, I would add a little more detail to make it look more like a flower. Overall, I am happy with my flower, and wouldn't change much about it.

My ice-cream cone:
My sketch is an ice-cream cone. I chose ice-cream  because I really enjoy it. In the summer, my family and I go and get ice-cream every Wednesday night. Also, I go with my friends a lot, which makes me very happy. I have very good memories when it comes to ice-cream, which is why I chose to make this ice-cream cone. I used a triangle, and a circle and used lines for the background. I feel that I could have made this a lot better, and I could have put more detail. This was my first time to use illustrator.

My skills in adobe illustrator:
I am not very good at it, but I still manage to do my best. This process took me a while, even though I didn't finish in time. First, I used the shaper tool to make ice-cream top. Then, I used the line tool to make the bottom cone part. Lastly, I used the line tool to make the background stripes to make the picture have more detail.

Shaper tool:
I enjoy using the shaper tool because it makes lines straighter and helps to make things neater. This helps with curved lines and rounded shapes that you are going to make. The shaper tool really helped me when I was making the ice-cream part. Not only is it helpful, but it's easy to use as well. I am able to work with it very well, and enjoy using it very much.

What do I like about Adobe Illustrator?
I really like Adobe Illustrator because its easy to use, and you have fun while using it. My only problem is the color use. I have a hard time using the colors and figuring out how to put it in the right spot. Other than that, I really like Adobe Illustrator and all it has to offer. My past two projects were easy, and I enjoyed doing them.

Favorite Color:
My favorite color is light blue. I like this color because it represents the sky and it has a warm feeling to it. This color makes me happy and reminds me of a rainbow. I have always liked this color and I always will.

Least favorite color:
My least favorite color is brown. I don't like this color because it gives me a gloomy, dark, gross feeling that I do not like. This color is boring, and reminds me of mud and dirt. This is not a color i would want to use or see on any of my projects.
